Who we are
Located in the Upper Derwent Valley of Tasmania, in the small town of Maydena, ShowribbonsOnline was originally a small ribbon printing business that was founded by Keith Irwin after relocating to Tasmania from New South Wales in 2009.
As recognition and demand grew for ribbons, sashes and rosettes so did the opportunity to expand.
Keith soon joined forces with Donna Barratt who bought shares in the growing business. Donna was able to help with the growth and direction of the business but at the end of 2013 after the birth of her 2nd child Donna stepped back from the front line to concentrate on her family and became a silent partner.
Its was during this time that Donna realised that finding anything with her daughters name on it was impossible and found that there was a demand for personalised items and gift wares. She researched the demand and after speaking to other friends and family Donna purchased her first laser with the help of her husband and finance. Hence Dannika's Cart was born!
Recently Keith has retired due to health and Donna has taken over the business as the sole Owner.
Donna is currently involved in many ventures including her husband's egg farm - Clucking Good Eggs. She also manages the Giants Tables Accommodation and is running the Maydena Post Office.
Donna is joined by her graphic designer Adele, who has been working for Keith since 2018.
Adele comes from a back ground of Art and Design. She has developed procedure books and manuals for Real Estate Agencies, Cleaning and Electrical Companies. Adele has a passion for design and computer programming and between them both, they are happy to design, print, laser cut and engrave to meet your every needs.
